Abstract:
Insertion of a velocity factor in Coulomb’s law of electrostatics and equating with Newton’s second law of motion, give speed of light c, in a vacuum, as the limit to which a charged particle is accelerated, at constant mass, by an electric field. Emission of radiation is obtained from accelerated charged particles, outside quantum mechanics. Electrons attaining speed of light c, without infinitely large masses, should bring some reliefs to physicists.
